Partnering with the John Paul II Foundation, the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities and the Bank of Palestine
In December 2011, Visitpalestine.ps entered into a strategic partnership with the John Paul II Foundation, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Bank of Palestine to establish a permanent Visitor Information Center on Manager Square. The Center was officially inaugurated on Christmas Eve 2011 under the Auspices of H.E. President Mahmoud Abbas.
Throughout this year, the VIC has played a pivotal role in promoting no only tourism to Bethlehem but to Palestine at large.
Today, the Center organizes regular day tours to various locations across the West Bank and we are working on expanding these programs and services during 2012.
VisitPalestine.ps’s role was to help set up the VIC and ensure a supply on promotional materials as well as availability of Destination marketing material.
In addition to the prints, VisitPalestine.ps also supplied the center with two touch screen displays which contain the VisitPalestine.ps platform and content for visitors to use.
